Blood donation and cancer awareness programme

Ramesh Gupta Memorial Trust has successfully organized blood donation and cancer awareness programme at its premises, Lucky Tower Tripureshwor, Kathmandu on 27Th November, 2019.

On the occasion of 34th birth anniversary of Trust’s Chairman, Mr. Rohit Gupta , a charitable event in association of Nepal Academy of Medical science(Teaching Hospital, Maharajgang), Kanti Children’s Hospital and Central Diagnostic Laboratory cancer awareness, Health screening and blood has taken place.

Volunteers from Tele Talk, Tele Direct, Tele Net, Lumbini Vidhyut, Universal Electrocom, Universal Trade Centre & NIC Asia Bank have spent extensive hours in service of Blood donation. We are extremely proud to share that we have collected 40 Pints of blood and there were 100 walks-in.

The trust has also provided facilities for Health screening to raise general awareness about health among employees, in which Lipid Profile, Blood Sugar Random, Creatine, ESR, Urine Routine & complete Haemogram diagnosed.

The doctors from Kanti children’s Hospital have separately taken class of female employees about Brest cancer, its Symptoms, screening method and way of treatment.

Trust Chairman, Mr. Rohit Gupta has thanked all of the Volunteers, Organizations and participant to this philanthropic event. He stressed out the importance of blood donation and said how this small contribution of blood will lead to save many lives. He also asked the volunteers to active participation in cancer awareness programme.
